Our current openings are in Charleston, Tennessee, McIntosh, Alabama, Lake Jackson, Texas and Plaquemine, Louisiana.

Charleston, Tennessee -In the center of it all, our Charleston plant is within driving distance of Chattanooga, Knoxville, Atlanta, Gatlinburg, Nashville, Savannah, Charlotte, and many more exciting destinations. The plant has a great culture, is a non-union location, and houses several corporate functions alongside plant employees.

Plaquemine, Louisiana - Neighbors with both Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Plaquemine offers great food, warm weather, and exciting cultural events year-long.

McIntosh, Alabama -McIntosh sits in acres of undeveloped wilderness yet remains in proximity to Mobile, the birthplace of Mardi Gras - this is a unionized plant offering the best of both town and country life.

Freeport, Texas - The single largest chlor-alkali complex in the world with over 1,000 employees, our Freeport location offers a larger HR support group and unique opportunities related to its size.

As an HR Manager with Olin, you will:

  • Partner with managers to fill new and existing openings, and establish development plans for employees with a focus on high potential employees
  • Assist in the articulation of the values and culture of the organization and propose HR management activities which support the organization's culture
  • Administer affirmative action and other employee relations programs
  • Manage and motivate staff; review and assess performance, develop and build employee skills, support their professional development and enable employees to optimize their contribution to the department
HR Manager Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma; Bachelor's or Master's Degree* in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business Management, Organizational Development or related discipline strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years recent and related HR Generalist experience; industrial and manufacturing environments preferred; process or chemical plant environments preferred; experience working in an OFCCP regulated environment strongly preferred
  • Ability to offer subject matter expertise on HR compliance/employment law knowledge, succession planning, employee retention, organizational capability, leadership development, performance management, team building and employee relations
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop HR staff; build strong and engaged teams.
  • The ability to relocate to other locations in the US is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
