Olidia Transit has immediate availability for Wheelchair Van Operators/Drivers for Paratransit ADA transportation in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.

Olidia Transit is looking for safe, reliable and motivated drivers to provide mobility for elderly and disabled members of our community. The Driver will be providing non-emergency medical transportation in vehicles designed for wheelchair lifts, seats and other special access

As a Paratransit Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a transit motor vehicle, providing reliable and efficient public transportation.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. On the spot interviews will be held. Flexible schedules and immediate openings are available

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service for our clients.
• Safely load and transport wheelchair passengers securely and on time for clinical appointments.
• Operate vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner
• Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Display sensitivity and compassion as daily features of outstanding wheelchair passenger customer service.
• Understand and adhere to all state and local laws governing the operation of a motor vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes
• Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license
• Must have clean criminal record and no moving vehicle violations for at least one years.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are required.
• Pass Drug Screen, Background and Motor Vehicles Report check.
• Possess or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid, Defensive Driving and Passenger Assistance Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
