Experience with addiction medicine helpful Provide direct psychodiagnostic, psychotherapeutic treatments, psychopharmacological evaluation management, and therapy to clients of the health center. Participate in mental health in-take conferences and in case presentations; provide psychiatric consultation to medical and mental health and substance abuse providers, as well as community providers when appropriate. Experienced with out-patient and after care of mental health patients; substance abuse patients, specific knowledge of prescribing psychiatric medications and their possible side effects alone, and with other medications; knowledge of DSM IV manual for classification of mental disorders and dual diagnosis experience.Ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced multidisciplinary practice and demonstrated sensitivity and experience working with underserved multicultural populations in a community setting.
