Oldham County Fiscal Court is Hiring an Executive Administrative Assistant Near Lagrange, KY

Description

Summary Independently manages the affairs of the Judge-Executive’s Office and serves as Fiscal Court Clerk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Communicates and interacts with Directors, Elected Officials, and other agency personnel to assist with administration objectives and fiscal court operations

Acts as custodian of records for the Judge-Executive’s Office.

Responsible for the coordination/preparation of records such as agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for court meetings.

Prepares/coordinates documents/logistics/information for fiscal court meetings.

Manages Judge Executive's calendar and email communications independently scheduling appointments and responding accordingly.

Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications.

Responsible for event planning - arranges programs, events, or meetings by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, and coordinating speakers.

Responsible for preparation and filing of legal notices with appropriate agencies to conform with statutes.

Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.

Prepares, drafts, proofreads, and executes correspondence using excellent communication skills.

Prepares proclamations and ordinances

Attends senior staff meetings, and implements resulting activity as needed.

Researches records as requested.

Reviews operating practices and implements improvements where necessary.

Coordinates the usage of audio-visual equipment in courtroom.

Responsible for creating content and posting information on county digital signs.

Backup to answering phones and reception.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; three to four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced computer skills. Proficient in all Microsoft applications and social media platforms.

Valid driver’s license
