**Responsibilities:**

- Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing and place orders

- Assist in employee orientation on merchandising procedures

- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities

- Interview, hire, and train new clerks for merchandising roles

- Manage inventory levels to ensure products are adequately stocked

- Organize promotional events and displays to attract customers

- Supervise merchandising staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in merchandising or retail environment
