GENERAL SUMMARY : Assist Retail Operations Manager with themanagement of the digital first textbook program. Responsible for the dailyoperation of the sales floor.

Receives and pays invoices for the bookstore.Supervises employees and work-study students. Maintains daily cash registerrecords, yearly sales record and prepares daily deposits.

Prepares purchase ordersfor supplies and assists customers. Opens and closes the store in the absenceof the Manager and assists the Manager with his / her duties andresponsibilities.

• Assists customers in selection of books, supplies, and tools. Maintaining good customer service.
• As cashier, responsible for the cash register operation, including cash sales, charge sales, credit card sales and campus vendor invoices.
• Reads the register and verifies cash count, prepares daily deposit reports.
• Ordering supplies for departments and store stock.
• Receives freight, prices inventory, and stocks shelves.
• Take orders from the online Bookstore and ship books to students.
• Responsible for campus vendor invoices, checking for accuracy of account numbers, signatures, and price extensions.
• Enters CVIs into the computer, charging departments, and sending out department copies.
• Assist at other positions as needed.
