GENERAL SUMMARY : This position serves as a general maintenanceperson in the maintenance of grounds and facilities on the OSUIT campus.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assists in all areas of grounds maintenance, including but not limited to the operation of mowers, trimmers, and other lawncare equipment.
May include use of chainsaws and other tree care equipment.
- Maintain documents and records for maintenance procedures and expenditures.
- Maintain current on all work order documentation and supporting data as directed.
- Perform chemical applications of herbicide.
- Snow and ice removal.
- Requires some weekend or after-hours work; weekday work schedule may vary with work performed and due to weather conditions.
- Will provide support to other Physical Plant departments when needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
