Oklahoma State University is Hiring a Communications Specialist - Recruitment Near Stillwater, OK

The Recruitment Communications Specialist will coordinate all aspects of the College of Arts & Sciences recruitment of new students to include: producing communications, planning recruitment programs, managing prospective student data, interfacing with on and off campus units, developing web content for majors and recruitment info, and knowing advising information to share with prospective and incoming students.
Travel for recruiting or networking.
Work schedule other than 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday as needed.
Transport recruiting materials in excess of 50 lbs.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, or Human Resources and demonstrated experience in communications, including, but not limited to social media, video, web, writing, editing content creation, higher education recruiting, sales, marketing, communications or public relations or a closely related field.

The successful applicant will possess a positive attitude, exceptional written and oral communication skills; and will work effectively with students, parents, faculty and staff of all backgrounds. They will demonstrate creativity to the success of the college.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, or Human Resources and three years of experience in higher education, teaching/advising a discipline in arts/humanities, social sciences or sciences, recruiting or communications position. Extensive experience in presenting to groups of all sizes along with experience in sales, marketing and communication, and/or social media.
