Oklahoma State University is Hiring an Athletic Trainer Near Stillwater, OK
The athletic training position is comprised of serving as the athletic trainer for the Tulsa Oilers Arena Football. The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop overall sports medicine program for the team, including: injury prevention programs, injury evaluations, injury management, injury treatment and rehabilitation, educational programs, and counseling for players
- Provide athletic training services for the team including attendance at scheduled team practices and home and away competitions
- Coordinate and schedule physical examinations and medical referrals to determine their ability to practice and compete
- Work in conjunction with the strength and conditioning staff to ensure safety in the design and implementation of fitness, nutrition, and conditioning programs customized to meet individual needs
- Develop and implement the sports medical program budget
- Liaison between patients and physicians
- Record keeping and documentation
Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 50 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Must be NATA BOC certified and possess or be in the process of acquiring state licensure
- Masters Degree
