Serve as academic advisor for declared majors in Microbiology. Help students to learn and understand academic requirements, policies and procedures. Demonstrate initiative in contacting advises regarding academic difficulties, attendance, missed enrollment dates, scholarship opportunities, departmental activities, etc. Complete and submit graduation checks. Teach first year seminar course (A&S 1111) each fall semester. Coordinate various department-specific activities and functions.

Master's Degree in Student Personnel Services, Higher Education Administration, any Arts & Sciences discipline, or a directly related field. 1-3 years of experience related to academic advising.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience directly related to OSU academic advising.
