Job Summary: | Provides direct support services to the Demonstration and Short-term Assistive Technology Loan Program by maintaining AT inventory, maintenance of fiscal records for all project activities, and making AT purchases. Assists in writing AT inventory descriptions, adding and removing from inventory, and ensuring all inventory related documents match and are accurate. Assists with short-term loan processing of paperwork and distribution. Assists the Senior Administrative Support Specialist with duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: updating internal commitment log spreadsheets, correspondence activities associated with all projects within the DOWSP, maintenance of office supplies and equipment, and assisting with motor pool reservations. Responsible for processing Fixed Asset Inventory Addition and Disposal Request forms. Responsible for inventory of high-profile equipment, surplus of items, and preparation of biannual inventory verification report. Responsible for quality customer service via mail, email, phone, and in person. Maintains and corresponds with anyone who requests information about general DOWSP projects. Will be assigned duties to meet additional grant/contract requirements as needed. All other duties as assigned. Travel may be required. Work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, out of town travel may be required during conference training or other meetings that may require additional time. |

Position Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: High School/GED One year of clerical/customer service experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. Demonstrated skills in administrative support. Assist in various programmatic services for multiple grants and contracts. Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication, ability to create and utilize spreadsheets. Extensive computer skills with experience in word processing, Excel spreadsheet, and database systems. Good customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications: Two years of clerical/customer service experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. Completion of Ambassador Program. |
