JOB SUMMARY
Competent to independently perform skills including obtaining vital signs, checking patients in and scheduling patients visits, inventory, per overseeing nurses' direction, and any other duties requested of you within your scope of practice.
Assists nurses with obtaining patient orders, office visit notes, and labs from outside provider offices.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Required
o Certification / Registration (CMA / RMA) current or expected within one year of employment. Current BLS, AHA or CPR certification for Healthcare
o Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience and / or training in similar medical practice / field.
o Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program preferred a nd / or training in similar medical practice / field - OR successful completion of an accredited Military medical school or training
o Electronic Medical Records
o Excel
o Inventory Management
