Project Engineer for Judlau Contracting, Inc. to work at our Brooklyn, NY location. Salary is $125,445 annually.  

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foreman and Crews on Project Deliverables.
• Process/manage material deliveries, ensuring that materials received are properly inspected for quantity and quality and are in compliance with contract documents.
• Manage and negotiate subcontractor and material contracts.
• Develop and update project schedules.
• Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals.
• Maintain a complete and current record of submittals, approvals, and resubmittals, including a file of letters of transmittal and dates of each transaction.
• Maintain a high level of involvement in the operations of the company's cost control system and analysis of construction costs.
• Participate in monthly forecasting revenue and cost accruals.
• Prepare monthly pay estimates after accumulating all necessary data.
• Process and estimate change orders and requests for information as directed by the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have Bach in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 2 yrs exp in job offered or similar role.
• Also requires skills (2 yrs exp) in: developing and maintaining contract specification documents, scope of work documents, subcontracts, purchase orders, project status reports, and profit projections. Experience may have been gained concurrently.
