Ohio Valley Voices is a 501C3 organization that teaches children who are deaf and hard of hearing how to listen and talk. If you are interested in joining a dynamic group of individuals, this job is for you.

Duties include:

• Assist with website and social media
• Support the grant writing process
• Execute events, fundraisers, prospect parties, receptions
• Assist with creating promotional materials
• Assist with data management
• Provide administrative support to the development department
• Assist in the production and mailing of appeals
• Work with the director of development, volunteers, and staff to create unique and creative events that support OVV's mission and fundraising objectives
• Serve as primary point of contact for events
• Support development in donor relationships

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in development, communications, or another related field
• Has at least 1 year experience in the nonprofit sector
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Excellent writing and speaking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to prioritize
• Experience in Publisher, Creative Adobe, and/or Photoshop
• Willingness to work weekends or afterhours related to OVV events, committee meetings, or donor meetings
