We are seeking a people-oriented HR Recruiter responsible for supporting Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries’ mission by researching, developing and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates and coordinating with the HR Team to complete pre-employment requirements and schedule for New Hire Orientation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in HR/related field preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience internal or external recruiting
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of HR concepts, practices and employment laws, and
remains up-to-date with employment legislature. Ability to problem-solve,
follow up and make sound decisions independently. Possess excellent
people/relationship building skills. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail,
organization skills, and strong PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
HRMS, Zoom)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Must be able to pass applicable background checks. Previous convictions of felonies and/or any other crime involving theft, deceit, fraud, or other act of moral turpitude are exclusions.
