Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and support in a hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and have a strong desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, obtaining x-rays, and collecting specimens
- Provide patient education and instructions on medication, treatments, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Coordinate patient appointments and referrals
- Perform medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification are recommended, but not mandatory
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, including electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Experience with drawing up injections and basic life support techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
