Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, insurance and regulatory payment requirements (HIPPAA, MIPS, etc) . The Office Manager will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the office, and delivering exceptional customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Supervise and assist with medical billing and coding processes, payroll, financial reports
- Liason with current and prospective healthcare providers, staff and vendors
- Manage inventory of office supplies and order as needed
- Perform general administrative tasks such as creation of Excel sheets, filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Skills:
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, Formulation of Excel documents, Financial reports and analyses.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (Nextech, Epic, Dentrix, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
-Strong supervisory and staff management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
