The President will serve as the senior executive for Glenbeigh Hospital with responsibility for the quality and safety of patient care, employee and physician engagement, patient experience, process improvement, and operating and financial results. The President provides senior executive direction and leadership with a primary focus on hospital operations and campus leadership.

Must be visible and accessible, internally and externally; achieving exceptional patient outcomes focus on quality and safety and a deep commitment to the employee experience. This position will cultivate exceptional relationships with external constituents including community leaders, donors, and state officials.

The President must have strong a predisposition for system-level thinking, while balancing the local needs of the hospital. Must create a compelling vision for change initiatives and takes responsibility for strategic implementation.

Must be results driven and willing to hold others accountable for outcomes. Establishes measurable goals and objectives, clearly communicates expectations and truly collaborates with those on leadership teams. Direct accountability for executing against budget seeking opportunities for revenue generation and expense reduction. Leads the team to ensure organizational practices are reliably consistent with The Joint Commission accreditation standards, CMS conditions of participation, department of health licensure requirements and other external regulatory, accreditation and certification requirements. Sets the expectation for continuous survey readiness and holds leaders accountable.

Must be a highly visible and approachable leader who rounds frequently to engage with providers and staff at all levels to demonstrate appreciation, genuinely listen and act upon identified barriers at the point of care or service.

Education:

Master’s degree in health or hospital administration, business administration, or a related field is required.

Experience:

Ten (10) years of progressive hospital leadership experience required, with three (3) years specifically in Chemical Dependency preferred.

Proven track record of creating revenue levers that drive financial growth.

Strong understanding and successful track record of optimizing clinical care delivery in acute care settings. Demonstrated track record of improving quality outcomes, while increasing operating efficiency.
