Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is Hiring a Geriatric Social Worker- Project WHEEL LMSW, LCSW Near Bronx, NY

Exciting NEW clinical program for LMSW/LCSWs in local senior centers. Positions available for high energy professionals to provide mental health service with seniors 60 plus, in Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx. Work scope includes using evidence based, solution focused, behavioral oriented & skill building in which you will be trained and certified to counsel seniors who are challenged by depression, social isolation and anxiety. Treatment modalities will include both individual and group therapies in a supportive and collaborative environment. Strong computer skills a must. Mandatory team meetings, supervision and CEU in-service training is provided. Positions are 35 hours per week. Language skills are specific to community and include Spanish, Chinese and Russian. Positions to start immediately.
