FULL TIME - Non-CDL Clothing Collection Driver Wanted!

Helpsys Mission: We are the largest textile collection company in the Northeast US. Unlike most used clothing businesses we have an environmental mission: to keep clothes out of the trash. In just the last year we collected 25 million pounds of clothes. The impact of the clothes we collected is the following:

• 320 million pounds of CO2 emissions
• 20 billion gallons of water
• The electricity usage of 10,000 American homes

In addition to our textile operations, our business is rapidly growing and in addition to a wholesale business, we are launching a Direct-to-Consumer E-Commerce platform. The company recently completed a Series A capital raise to support our growth ambitions.

We are proud to be a Public Benefit Corporation and a Certified B Corp with an environmental mission. We believe the tragedy of clothing filling our landfills and incinerators must stop.

To fight this battle, we work with partners large and small to place clothing collection containers, schedule collection drives, engage with cities and towns, manage unwanted inventories, and spread the word that CLOTHES ARENT TRASH.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Fulltime, Part-time, and on-call positions available.
• Availability to work both Sat and Sun
• Able to safely operate non-CDL box trucks up to 26 feet long.
• Load and unload trucks in outdoor environments year-round
• Able to work independently without direct supervision.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and DOT Medical Card
• Able to use a mobile phone to log all activities.
• You must be able to lift and carry large bulky items up to 50 lbs.
• You must be able to push and pull a rolling cart up to 450 lbs.
• You must be able to work in inclement weather such as heavy rain or snow.
