Quality Control Specialist (Supplier Maintenance)

$72,706.00 - $93,742.00

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of a Quality Control Specialist (Supplier Maintenance).

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Operations and Systems (OFOS), Central Accounting Operations Division.

Duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Reviewing and validating supplier information to facilitate timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
  • Ensuring tax information is complete and accurate; conducting research.
  • Examining large quantities of supplier data to identify trends and patterns; and correcting supplier records.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Qualifications : Three (3) years of progressive work experience performing related duties and responsibilities such as : reviewing and analyzing financial information using automated systems or databases;
  • creating reports to validate the accuracy of financial data related to accounts payable information; assessing, designing, and implementing internal controls and policies;

and developing and recommending improvements to increase operational efficiency. Knowledge of Oracle reporting tools (OBIEE / OBTI, etc.

and database management tools (Excel, IDEA, ACL, etc.).
