Odd Fellows Tavern Bartender Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic restaurant environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role
- Proficiency in using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Familiarity with the food industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting within a restaurant environment
