Job Description:
Driver of HR Operational Excellence through Automation, Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS), and Business Intelligence.
The Process and Systems Optimization Senior Director will be a catalyst for change, playing a critical role in the global transformation of the HR Global Services Organization. This individual will not only lead the strategic development and administration of our Workday Human Capital Management System (HCMS), Cloud and generative AI Solutions, and Automation Platforms, but also champion critical thinking, data analysis, benchmarking, problem solving, and business-process reengineering.
With a focus on End-to-End (EtE) LEAN and strategic thinking/planning, the Senior Director will actively engage and empower a team of 98 individual contributors and managers to serve as coaches and mentors to the broader organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cutting-edge innovation.
This position will foster relationships with senior internal stakeholders by establishing robust business relationships and working collaboratively with other corporate and country-level teams including HR, IT, Legal, Tax, Finance, Treasury, Payroll, Stock, Benefits, and Compensation. This role is part of the global HR organization, within the HR Global Services (HRGS) group, and reports to the HRGS Vice President and General Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the business transformation of HR Global Services processes and systems through strategic planning, development, and administration of Workday HCMS, Cloud and generative AI Solutions, and Business Process Automation Platforms (RPA/RDA, Workflow).
  • Drive a culture of critical thinking and data-driven decision-making, utilizing benchmarking and research to inform strategic initiatives and process reengineering.
  • Champion the adoption of EtE LEAN methodologies across the organization, ensuring that HR processes are optimized for hyper-efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Actively engage with teams across the organization, coaching and mentoring them to embrace strategic thinking, innovation, and problem-solving as part of their daily responsibilities.
  • Oversee the quality and continuous improvement of HR processes, aligning them with global standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure that HR technology initiatives support and drive organizational transformation.
  • Lead the evaluation and management of vendor relationships, ensuring that partnerships support the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a governance framework for Workday HCM, Cloud Solutions, and Automation Platforms that uphold data integrity, privacy, security, and compliance with international regulations.
  • Utilize analytics and business intelligence to measure the impact of HR technology initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, setting clear expectations, SMART goals, and fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of Workday HCMS and Business Process Automation (RPA/RDA) capabilities and applicability.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, EtE LEAN processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams across cultural boundaries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data analysis and benchmarking to inform decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of global HR operations, compliance, and data privacy standards.
  • Relevant Workday, generative AI, or other technology certifications are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and deliver results in a dynamic, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment; ability to build networks, develop alliances and work through people.
  • Experience with end-to-end merger and acquisition activities.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
