The Nurse Supervisor provides supervision of all patient care areas I the hospital. The Registered Nurse Supervisor is required to have a working knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and procedures and the ability to apply independent judgement in their interpretation. The Registered Nurse Supervisor duties include the provision of managerial and clinical links between the Director of Nursing and/or Nurse manager and department direction in their absence. The Registered Nurse Supervisor promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
