Some of your major responsibilities will include:

* Develop knowledge of theavionic network system design
* Maintain and update spacecraft avionics lab hardware and software
* Work in an Integrated Product Team to develop and test safety-critical networking
* Configure and troubleshoot development hardware and software with limited documentation
* Identifying bugs, and work with the product vendor to reproduce and resolve
* Communicate and demonstrate progress to management
* Organize and manage multiple priorities
* Work in an Agile, fast-paced environment
* Perform other duties as required

Required

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
* Knowledge of Computer Networking
* Familiarity with Network Troubleshooting Techniques
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix environments
* Experience with a Scripting language such as Python, BASH
* Knowledge of C/C

Preferred

* Experience with application of computer network technology in space system
* Experience with spacecraft avionics and circuit design or analysis is a plus
* Familiar with Git or other similar configuration management/version control systems
* Familiar with commercial products available in computer networking technology
* Familiar with Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTE) (SAE AS6802) and AFDX (ARINC 664p7)
* Familiar with network cabling standards
* Familiar with VxWorks RTOS
