Job Summary:

Objective Area Solutions (OAS) is seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to enhance our team. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in making technology enhancement recommendations, developing prototype electronic/automated process flows, and training users on processes and tools.

This role supports the Federal Aviation Administration organization, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of 45,000 flights and 3 million passengers traversing over 28 million miles of U.S. controlled airspace every day. A critical service that enables that massive responsibility involves the sustainment, development, and implementation of air traffic control surveillance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

A successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and be proficient in:

• Examining and pursuing innovative monitoring methods for reducing the size of SharePoint and website footprints
• Collaborating with Business Process Support Teams to ensure that functionalities, accessibility, and reliability of business needs are within the agreed to SLA's
• Creating and maintaining architecture frameworks (SharePoint, MyFAA, FAA.gov, Alfresco, ADMS, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), and latest supported FAA software and languages), for requirements analysis, solution designs, and strategic planning
• Coordinating with IT subject matter experts and project managers for deployment schedules, user-centered content on functionality, and impacts of IT system changes on end-users and business partners
• Coordinating to correct IT operational deficiencies to bring systems into alignment with compliance standards (e.g., system security, privacy)
• Developing and maintaining EA applications, data, infrastructure, security, technical aspects, and business architectures), Technical Reference Model (TRM), EA projects roadmap and associated vision, and strategy and implementation documentation
• Coordinating to conduct business needs analysis, including supporting requirements gathering, facilitating workshops, and creating business and technology scenarios
• Establishing and implementing a plan to support the management, assessment, enhancement, and/or maintenance of enterprise-wide maintenance agreements

Qualifications:

• B.S. in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT Management, or other IT related degrees. Engineering, math, and science degrees are acceptable.
• Experience supporting the FAA or other US Government clients
