Position Summary:

Oasys is seeking to fill a Cyber Security Engineer. The successful candidate must be a highly experienced subject matter expert with knowledge that crosses multiple areas of specialization relative to threat intelligence, cyber operations, network security, cloud security, and security engineering. The ideal candidate will demonstrate their ability for continued growth and desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and design security architecture and standards to include cloud security.
• Implement cloud monitoring, detection, and response tools and best practices.
• Implement security scanning for cloud environments to improve vulnerability detection and mitigation.
• Research new and emerging security practices and capabilities such as AI/ML to address compliance and mitigate security risk.
• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring the day-to-day cybersecurity operations for a large organization.
• Lead security architecture reviews to include FiSMA compliance.
• Participate and lead agile practices for implementing new services.
• Lead technical forums, working groups, and brief key stakeholders.
• Mentor and train less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise.
• Supports business development for both new opportunities and on contract growth.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience designing and implementing security in Cloud to include the following:
• Multi-Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, shared responsibility model
• AWS IAM, KMS, S3, RDS, SNS/SQS, Organization, Guard Duty, Security Hub, Detective, Config, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda
• Azure E3/E5, Active Directory, Blob, Azure Security Center, Key Vault, SSE, Monitor, Log Analytics, Policy
• 5 years of experience in the design and deployment of the following technologies:
• LAN/WAN, Cloud WAF/CDN/DDOS, Network Firewalls, IDS/IPS
• Virtualization, hypervisor security, container security
• Application development, serverless security, microservices, CI/CD pipeline
• 5 years working in or managing Agile DevOps, Scrum, Kanban
• Experience with DevSecOps strategy and implementation and designing architecture in accordance to RMF, CSF, FISMA, and Fedramp
• Familiarity with: ZTNA and SASE Framework, ICAM (OKTA), CWPP, SOC Operations, Vulnerability Threat Management, and Compliance
• Excellent communication skills to document, develop, and present technical issues so that stakeholders across the organization readily understand the content and their related actions.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment and quickly learn new technology concepts, including software and hardware.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing.
• Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in, computer science, or related technical discipline from an accredited institution, with10 years of experience.

Clearance:

• U.S. citizenship required
• Possesses or can obtain OPM Position of Public Trust.

Certification:

• CISSP Certification
