Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of campus buildings. Primary duties include mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and general cleaning.
• Responsible for sanitizing common areas, public and private bathrooms, and the overall cleaning of resident living areas.
• Maintains confidentiality with reference to resident information.
• Communicate effectively with staff members; residents and family to ensure needs are met.
• Organizes materials and manages time to ensure tasks are done in a timely manner.
• Responsible for using all equipment, chemicals, and supplies according to OSHA, state, and facility guidelines.
• Responsible for knowing and following the policies in the Oakwood team member handbook.
• Responsible for completing departmental and general in-services training.
• Reports work orders to the appropriate department to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to work in a partnership environment which fosters effective teamwork in meeting the mission of Oakwood.
• Ability to maintain departmental quality assurance and infection control standards.
• Willing to be cross-trained in order to fill-in at other housekeeping areas as needed.
