Description:
Microsoft Azure Engineer to help serve our Azure customer base. The core mission of the Azure Engineer is to assist with the design, creation, and deployment of Azure infrastructure solutions related primarily to client projects as well as internal projects. This could include the migration of clients to Office 365, build out of Azure solutions and assisting with the development of new cloud product offerings and technologies, improvements to Azure processes, and migration of client data to the Azure cloud.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a relevant technical understanding of Microsoft infrastructure solutions including Azure, Office 365, and Windows Server.
  • Assist with the design and deployment of all aspects of Azure infrastructure technologies and topologies.
  • FortiGate firewall integration in Azure.
  • Deployment of Azure AD Connect.
  • Migrate and deploy various customer workloads to Azure as needed.
  • Architect and deploy Hybrid Azure AD environments.
  • Provide guidance and support on HPC best practices and solutions for customers.
  • Customer interaction and meetings to determine needs and requirements.
  • Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational, tooling, and process inefficiencies.
  • Project and design documentation.
  • Process and support documentation.
  • Respond to customer requests promptly.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to users as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science or other technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent business experience.
  • 3 years’ experience as an Azure and/or Office 365 expert in a large mission critical Office 365/Azure implementation.
  • HPC (high performance computing) experience.
  • AVD experience highly desirable.
  • Experience in the deployment of Azure networking services and Azure site recovery (ASR) services.
  • Experience in the deployment of Azure Fortinet security appliances.
  • Must document and support all aspects of the environment.
  • Experience on an internal IT Azure services Team.
  • Ability to adapt and change as dictated by the cloud services environment.
