As a Compliance Specialist, you will work in an office based setting within our Quality department located in Mt. Holly, Burlington County NJ.

Schedule: Full-time 40 hours; Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm; 30 min unpaid lunch; Flexible, Hybrid schedule

Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine and targeted billing audits; monitoring action plans to ensure that proper steps were taken to resolve any compliance issues and that necessary adjustments to billing or state reporting have occurred.
• Assisting external auditors as needed;
• Reviewing high risk incident, providing a written report including recommendations to programs
• Providing training on compliance for new employees
• May provide Ombuds services
• Assisting with activities related to licensing and accreditation visits
• Assisting with the development of policies and procedures related to compliance and quality improvement;
• Helping to develop performance improvement strategies to support compliance, and organizational outcomes
• Maintaining knowledge of industry trends, requirements of payors, and areas of risk;
• Serving on agency committees that are supported by the Quality Department.
• Completing special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a mental health related field plus two (2) years experience direct experience in a behavioral healthcare setting;
• Master's Degree and supervisory experience preferred;
• Familiar with regulatory (DMHAS, DDD, DCF) and billing standards (Medicaid, Medicare, NJHMAPP, MCO;s and commercial insurance) outcome measurements and performance improvement initiatives
• Valid Driver's License required
