What You’ll Do as the Residential Assistant: We are looking for a group home PRN Residential Assistant The primary work duties include:
Assistance in maintaining daily routines.
Providing skills and support to enable clients to regain coping abilities, enhance independent living skills, and prevent further disability.
Creating a therapeutic milieu to facilitate treatment.
As a vital part of the clients treatment, the Residential Assistant interacts with community contacts, physicians, pharmacists, professionals, family members and center staff on the client's behalf. This position has contact with families and significant others during visitation hours and on an on-going basis. Requirements for the Residential Assistant:
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience with targeted population a plus.
Must be 20 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Schedules include evenings, nights and weekend shift
