What You'll Do Engagement Specialists help the clients in our community live healthier and more fulfilling lives through identifying and supporting their needs and goals. This work helps connect clients to resources throughout their treatment, keeping clients connected to the organization and communication flowing to keep the entire client's team up-to-date with any challenges or obstacles the client is facing with showing up for schedule appointments. Primary duties: Engaging clients in person and over the phone to keep them engaging in mental health services Helping clients overcome barriers to care such as transportation, financial constraints, etc. by accessing available programs such as:
Referring to navigators to access Medicaid
Looking at 3rd party reimbursed transportation programs
Accessing grant funding through the completion of National Outcome Measures
Assisting clients in rescheduling appointments
Monitoring trends in attendance with the goal of increasing client show rates
Documenting and communicating all client contacts
Interactive frequently with outpatient therapist, physicians, other employees involved in the case, community agencies and referral sources
Minimum requirements:
BA/BS in related field
Strong communication and engagement skills
Excellent administrative skills in the areas of organization and documentation
