Asbury Heights is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will work closely with our residents and their families to provide support, advocacy, and resources to ensure their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in social work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families
- Develop care plans and goals for residents
- Assess residents' needs and provide resources accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care for residents
- Advocate for residents' rights and ensure their safety and well-being
- Facilitate support groups and educational programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work
- Current license as a Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
