Asbury Heights, a leading senior living community in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an experienced Infection Preventionist RN to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for preventing and controlling infections that may occur in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention and control policies and procedures
- Monitor, investigate, and report infections to appropriate parties
- Provide education and training to staff, residents, and family members on infection prevention and control
- Conduct ongoing surveillance of infections within the community
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to prevent and control infections
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infection prevention and control
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to infection prevention and control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
