As the highest-ranking member in the store, you'll not only share responsibilities with Team Members but also take charge of key operational aspects to ensure the smooth functioning of our establishment.

Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve smoothies and açai bowls according to OAKBERRY CA's Guidelines.
• Greet customers warmly, providing a friendly environment.
• Educate customers on the health benefits of our products and address any inquiries.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as necessary.
• Receive and check orders from vendors.
• Operate the card register.
• Operate the electric, music, light, etc systems - make sure the store set-up is aligned with OAKBERRY CA's Guidelines to provide a great experience to our customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper food and equipment handling.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
• Stay informed about all menu items and ingredients to accommodate customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Uphold the highest quality and presentation standards for food and beverage items.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and utensils to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

Lead Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and set an example for exceptional service and adherence to company standards, including uniform policies, store procedures, customer service protocols, and ect.
• Oversee efficient inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels (monthly report).
• Handle various administrative tasks, such as inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and corporate meetings.
• Manage purchases efficiently to meet store needs while upholding quality standards.
• Utilize tools like 7SHIFTS, Square, MarketMan, and any other provided software for effective operations.
• Responsible for adding requests to the MarketMan system.
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for all new team members.
• Facilitate clear and efficient communication among team members.
• Act as the point of contact for organizing and coordinating store and corporate events.
• Manage weekly scheduling for team members and be the first contact for handling call-offs or urgent needs.
• Immediately report any structural problems in the store to the District Manager.

QUALIFICATION:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Previous experience in customer service or food service (preferred).
• Basic math skills for inventory and card handling (preferred).
• Micro-manage operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to ensure that all food and beverage items are made to the highest quality and presentation standards.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Team-oriented with effective training skills.
• Ability to manage 4-5 Team Members based on all their needs.
• Comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry (preferred).
• Ability to lead and inspire a team toward common goals.
• Proficient in inventory management, purchasing, and employee scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• Strong commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Employment Details:

• Job Type: Full-Time - up to 40 hours per week.
• Salary: $19.00 per hour Supplemental Pay (Tips)
• Hours: 5 hours per day plus additional hours to cover administrative duties.Closing Shift: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays).
