Oak Grove Technologies is Hiring a Director of Information Technology Near Raleigh, NC

Overview

Oak Grove Technologies, a fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking an I.T. Director to work in its Raleigh, North Carolina office. The Company offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. 

The IT Director Manages computer network infrastructures, PCs, printers, and peripherals; serves as CSSO (Computer System Security Officer) on applicable projects and supports end user IT needs. 

Responsibilities

  • This includes responsibility for system administration, network security, cloud infrastructure, and corporate IT systems.
  • Manages I.T. department spending and assets. Develops the IT department budget, spending, and capital, while ensuring the company's technology investments are aligned with its goals and priorities
  • Advises and recommends products/systems/procedures to executive team
  • Implements and maintains security measures to protect the company's networks and systems from cyber threats
  • Monitors network activity to detect and respond to potential security incidents. Developing and implementing security policies and procedures
  • Continued work on controls protecting CUI’s and maintain compliance with DFARS/NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0
  • Manages I.T. projects, purchases, and requisitions
  • Responsible for managing computer server for all company locations. Oversees and manages the day-to-day administration of the company's servers, storage systems, and databases at multiple locations.
  • Oversees the migration of the company's IT systems to the cloud, ensuring that the cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and cost-effective
  • Responsible for managing company cell phones and laptops.
  • Purchases equipment and services for support of computer network infrastructures.
  • Works with FSO (Facility Security Officer) and DSS (Defense Security Service) to ensure network security when applicable to classified contracts.
  • Actively troubleshoot and resolve issues through the Help Desk portal
  • Back up for Datawatch Systems key card access management for HQ office.
  • Works mainly at Raleigh office but will occasionally travel to other company locations. 
  • May need to work early morning, evening hours, or weekends for special projects, network maintenance and/or off-sites.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a college degree in the technology field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of I.T. experience in IT, including experience in system administration, network security, cloud infrastructure, and corporate IT systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. 
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, and ensure that the department is well-equipped to meet the company's technology needs
