Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the doctor to ensure that the dental patient understands the treatment itself and why it is needed
  • Answering calls, email requests, patient texts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responsible for collecting balances, patient coinsurance, and/or deposits.
  • Documentation of all patient encounter both verbal and in office
  • Responsible for presenting financial options and scheduling the patient's next appointment
  • Responsible for following up on presented treatment plans and clinical needs of the patient to include prior approvals, medical clearance, and post op care.
  • Responsible for accuracy of legal clinical documents
  • Responsible for providing WoW service to each and every patient

Qualifications

  • Love, live, and breathe dentistry, just like us!
  • Prefer at least 1 year of experience as a dental treatment coordinator, but willing to train if you are bilingual in Spanish
  • Above normal typing speeds/skills, to include maneuverability with computer software, and clear knowledge of either Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Have a clear understanding of Dental Insurance, waiting periods, and other limitations
  • Capable of problem solving
  • Have a great, outgoing personality!! This is a must
  • Ability to thoroughly explain treatment plans, accounts, and financial options
  • High functioning of basic mathematic skills.
  • Willingness to assist patients to complete their financial applications
  • Love setting goals and crushing them! We can't wait to hear from you!
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends are required, please only apply if you are available to work these hours

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
