Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The Office Manager will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, including entering attorney billable time and billing clients, coordinating schedules and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
Duties:
- Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, etc.
- Oversee vendor management and relationships
- Maintain and update office policies and procedures
- Handle payroll processing and employee timekeeping
- Manage phone systems and handle incoming calls
- Supervise and provide guidance to administrative staff
- File and organize documents, both physical and electronic
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills:
- Strong calendar management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience in office management and Quickbooks and TimeSlips preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
