Essential Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and verify guests' age prior to serving alcohol.
• Take guest food and drink orders, suggesting menu items and answering questions.
• Initiate and maintain appropriate conversations with guests.
• Serve guests responsibly, adhering to company, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure food/drink items exceed guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain bar cleanliness.
• Answer phone for call-in orders when necessary.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company recipes.
• Enter orders in the POS system and process payment for guest checks.
• Set up bar for daily operation and maintain stock of supplies.
• Clean and sterilize glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures and embrace company culture initiatives.

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
• Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver results and work well with diverse personalities.
• Multitasking and prioritization skills.

Hours:

• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior bartending experience preferred.
• Certification to serve alcohol as required by state and local laws.

Physical Requirements:

• Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Requires walking or standing.
• May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds occasionally.

Physical Activity:

• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.

Environmental Conditions:

• Inside work environment with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
