Essential Responsibilities:

• Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public areas to detect and prevent infringements.
• Respond to disturbances, complaints, thefts, and other incidents.
• Monitor for fire hazards, unsafe conditions, and damaged equipment.
• Enforce legal regulations and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist guests and team members during emergencies.
• Conduct room checks and assist with guest inquiries when necessary.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to resolve problems efficiently and deliver results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work well with diverse personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and analytical skills.
• Comfortable with high visibility and assuming a leadership role in the hotel and community.
• Previous security experience preferred (Military Veteran, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Corrections).

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Current Driver’s License required.

Hours:

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Responsible for responding to emergencies on nights and/or weekends.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Light Work: Occasionally exert up to 40 pounds of force and frequently up to 20 pounds to move objects.
• May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.
• Safety-sensitive position subject to additional safety requirements.

Work Conditions:

• Inside and outside work environment.
• Not substantially exposed to adverse conditions.
