Essential Responsibilities:
- Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning team members; following up on work results.
- Leads, trains & mentors team members including recruitment and hiring, coaching, development, performance evaluations, and progressive discipline.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Keeps Area Director promptly and fully informed of all issues (i.e. problems, unusual matters of significance, and positive events) and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
- Identifies current and future guest requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual guests.
- Ensures availability of merchandise and services by reviewing contracts and submitting for approval; maintaining inventories.
- Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends; doing competitive pricing checks; ensuring all variance reports are being completed in a timely manner.
- Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios all while using the Macadoodles merchandising guide.
- Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
- Protects team members and guests by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements. Ex: All proper licensing and training completed by all team members
- Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
- Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains the O’Reach, Green team, Health and Wellness, and Safety committee in conjunction with our other properties
- Has all of the end of the month purchasing requests ready to go with a scheduled time to talk about them at least one week before the end of the month- this includes all departments
- Send your weekly re-cap by the determined timeline
- Send your P&L Re-cap monthly to Area Manager, RDO and CEO within 3 business days of the P&L being released
- Hold weekly managers meetings
- Hold monthly team member meetings
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures for Team Member Recognition Program.
- Ensure that you are following the Macadoodles guidelines for our yearly Macadoodles events.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Verbally communicate with managers, co-workers, guests, and the general public in a positive manner.

- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel.)
- Strong leadership, management, organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to deliver results.
- The ability to work well with, as well as motivate, a variety of personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize.
Hours:
- Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Prior bartending experience preferred.
- Certification to serve alcohol as directed by state and local laws required.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
- Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
- May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.
