Description:

  • Supervise Front Office operations, including recruiting, hiring, performance evaluations, training, and development.
  • Maintain OHM and brand standards of service quality, ensuring guest needs are met with world-class service.
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses, maximizing department profitability.
  • Liaise with all hotel departments including Housekeeping, F&B, Sales, and Engineering.
  • Contribute to overall hotel profitability and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop financial and operational plans for the Front Office department.
  • Actively participate in hotel sales efforts and revenue meetings.
  • Manage Front Office operations to maximize RevPar and overall profitability.
  • Maintain procedures for cash, credit control, and financial transactions.
  • Collaborate on reputation management, responding to guest reviews and concerns.
  • Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
  • Ensure staff is properly trained to provide world-class guest service.
  • Support team member recognition and engagement programs.
  • Manage in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to motivate and work well with a variety of personality types.
  • Proficiency with relevant brand-specific PMS and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hotel operations and services offered.
  • Comfortable with high visibility and leadership roles.
  • Able to work under pressure.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Management, or Business.
  • Two-year supervisory experience, one-year line level experience, or equivalent education and experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.

Work Conditions:

  • Inside work environment. Not substantially exposed to adverse conditions.
