Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with stripping of soiled linens from guest rooms and remove stains if needed.
  • Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets according to hotel standards.
  • Operate washers and dryers, ensuring correct detergent usage.
  • Fold linens and maintain organized stock.
  • Iron table linens and mend torn articles as needed.
  • Adhere to safety regulations when using chemicals.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
  • Report for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform.
  • Embrace company culture and policies.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Maintain tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a Housekeeping role preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Hours: Scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Requires significant walking or standing.
  • Various physical activities including climbing, stooping, lifting, etc.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Inside work environment with protection from weather conditions.
  • Wet and humid conditions may occur.
  • Noise and vibration may be present.
