Essential Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests immediately upon seating and offer menu suggestions.
- Ensure responsible beverage service in compliance with liquor liability laws.
- Take and enter drink and food orders into POS register.
- Serve food and drinks, lift and carry trays, and attend to guest needs.
- Prepare and present guests' checks and handle payment.
- Bus and reset tables, maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
- Restock service stations, garnish line, and common areas.
- Operate restaurant equipment including POS systems and soda fountains.
Skills & Abilities:
- Pleasant, polite demeanor with a neat appearance.
- Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver results.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
Hours:
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
- Must be of age to serve alcoholic beverages and obtain liquor card if required by state law.
Physical Requirements:
- Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally.
- Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motion.
Environmental Conditions:
- Inside work environment with protection from weather conditions.
