Your Role

The Operations / Supply Chai team plays a critical role in the success of O Positiv and is responsible for range of activities including procurement, product testing, supply / demand planning inputs, freight, inventory management, fulfilment, and shipping. The team works collaboratively with all other functions at O Positiv and a broad range of external suppliers. The Supply Chain / Operations Manager role reports into O Positiv's Operations Director.

The ideal candidate will be data-driven, analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, an effective communicator, and highly collaborative.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support procurement from current and new suppliers including sourcing, qualification, and purchasing processes
  • Track purchase orders to ensure on time in full completion and any deviations are documented and explained
  • Manage purchase order shipping from domestic and international suppliers and track / document all updates
  • Manage inventory receiving counts and documentation with our 3PL to ensure on time in full receiving
  • Manage inventory age analysis with our 3PL to ensure all products meet shelf-life requirements
  • Support supply / demand planning for a subset of products / components
  • Support outbound DTC / B2B shipping processes / analyses to ensure orders are placed and sent on time in full
  • Support B2B retail operations set up and ongoing management including EDI and WERCS processes
  • Support testing to ensure all COAs, MSDS, and stability testing processes and results are managed effectively
  • Support ongoing development and documentation of SOPs
  • Run ad hoc analysis and support project management of various key initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Support, Amazon, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams
  • Work collaboratively with all external suppliers to build strong and accountable relationships
  • Be highly proactive in monitoring and analyzing performance to identify and resolve potential issues early
  • Be highly proactive in identifying opportunities to improve performance including cost, quality, and accuracy

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and equivalent work experience in a supply chain / operations or highly analytical role
  • 2-6 years in CPG / Retail companies with B2B and B2C sales channels (title varies on experience)
  • Experience in procurement, supply / demand planning, freight / shipping, and 3PL management preferred
  • Experience working with EDI and WERCS is a plus
  • Startup / e-commerce / supplements experience or passion is a plus
  • Interpersonal
  • Logical, structured, and analytical approach to problem solving with strong excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with different groups of individuals – a team player
  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces – hard working, organized, and results oriented individual
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $80,000 - $130,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

  • Pay based on prior experience
  • Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles – in person (Mon-Thu in office / Friday remote)
