Position: Account Executive Employer Services

Location: Flexible, with some travel expected

Compensation: $60,000-80,000 base with competitive bonus structure

Job summary: This position is responsible for developing the pipeline for employer services by cultivating relationships and leading the acquisition of new clients. Sales goals will be achieved by promoting, selling, and closing new business. The Account Executive, Employer Services will cultivate relationships with brokers, benefits teams, and employers, develop and manage a pipeline of leads, close deals, and support implementation of client engagements. The main KPIs for this position are annual revenue targets, average client value, and new client acquisition.

Overall responsibilities:

  • Support the development of, and execute our Employer Services sales strategy
  • Cultivate relationships with brokers, employee benefits teams, and employers
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of new qualified leads
  • Structure client engagements and collaborate with Account Managers on implementation
  • Close new business and drive growth in revenue
  • Additional duties assigned as deemed appropriate

The ideal candidate has:

  • A background in Employee Benefits and/or Sales
  • Experience selling to benefits teams, corporate decision makers (C-Suite and/or VP Level) and employers
  • A network of Benefits, HR, and other Corporate leaders
  • The ability to close deals
  • A track record for driving revenue growth
  • Exceptional follow through and persistence to move deals through the sales cycle

In addition, the ideal candidate is:

  • Driven by upside and hungry to close new business with a hunter mentality
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • A clear communicator and extremely responsive to clients and colleagues
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable speaking with prospects at all levels of an organization
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Cognizant of the behavioral health challenges employers and employees face, and able to effectively communicate and offer solutions to address these challenges
