- Design and build/modify different tools/fixtures to support various equipment functions in a battery lab environment
- Develop engineering drawings, technical guidelines and documentation, as required
- Plan and perform verification & validation testing on prototype and production equipment
- Work with Senior Engineer and Technicians to troubleshoot and support production
- Adapt to constantly changing priorities and project scopes
- BS in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial engineering background preferred
- Proficient with 3D CAD tools (ex: Solidworks, PTC Creo)
- Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Enjoys hands-on lab work such as machining and lab equipment setups
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, and also as part of a team
