Job Summary

NWC Property Management is looking for Part-Time Maintenance Technician. The job will be primarily out of our Baldwin / Whitehall residential apartment building.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the grounds, cleaning common areas, handling work orders, and performing unit turns.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys working in a dynamic environment, and is looking for 20 hours per week of work, with the opportunity to grow into a more full time roll.

Responsibilities

• Grounds Maintenance : Ensure that the property grounds are clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Common Area Cleaning : Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and leasing office to ensure they are tidy and presentable.
• Work Orders : Respond to and complete maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner. This may include minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Unit Turns : Prepare vacant units for new residents by performing tasks such as painting, repairing, cleaning, and ensuring all appliances and fixtures are in working order.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
