We are looking for a talented and passionate Voter Protection Associate to help support our state’s Voter Protection and Access organizing program. In this role, you will help ensure all eligible Nevadans are able to cast their ballot in 2024 and help elect Democrats up and down the ticket! The Voter Protection Associate will work closely with the Deputy Voter Protection Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the State Voter Protection and Access Director (VPD) and Deputy Voter Protection Director of Organizing in implementing a voter protection organizing program
• Assist in volunteer recruitment and management efforts for poll observer, hotline, and other voter protection programming.
• Assist in the development of training materials for voter protection volunteers
• Assist in other Voter Protection departmental neeeds

Ideal Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior organizing experience is strongly preferred.
• 1 cycle of experience working in voter protection or related work or 1 cycles of experience working in statewide organizing or political roles
• Experience working with NGP/VAN and/or experience working with LBJ
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to work strategically and collaboratively
• Experience juggling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment that requires exceptional organization, creativity, versatility, and problem solving
• A strong commitment and passion for advancing the Democratic agenda and enhancing voter access
