Construction Inspectors to work on various roadway and bridge infrastructure projects in Nassau and Suffolk counties, NICET II minimum or equivalent, with 3 years of experience on similar construction projects.

Must be conversant with NYSDOT and Nassau County specifications as well as Federal Aid procedures. OSHA & ACI certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily Inspector reports
  • Confirm Contractor quantities
  • Ensure implementation of MPT.

Qualifications

Education / Qualifications :

Diploma or undergraduate degree in Engineering, and / or NICET 2,3,4 certification with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Certifications / Licenses :

NICET 2,3,4; OSHA and ACI

The pay range for this position in New York is $30.00 to $55.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.

Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

This information is provided per the salary transparency provisions of the NYCHRL. Base pay information is based on market location.
